Arrow Electronics teams with Samsung to bring the SAMSUNG ARTIK smart IoT end-to-end platform to customers

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is collaborating with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. to bring the newly launched SAMSUNG ARTIK™ Smart IoT platform to Arrow’s global ecosystem of customers and suppliers. The fully integrated, complete chip-to-cloud solution accelerates product development, reduces time-to-market and improves total cost of ownership for internet of things (IoT) products.

“Arrow is pleased to offer the SAMSUNG ARTIK platform, combined with our global reach and suite of design and production services, to support customers across the technology stack and product lifecycle,” said Aiden Mitchell, vice president of global IoT solutions at Arrow. “Businesses today are looking for increasingly integrated connectivity and cloud solutions, and innovative technologies like the SAMSUNG ARTIK platform can help them get to market faster and more cost-effectively.”

The SAMSUNG ARTIK™ platform unites hardware, software, cloud, security and partner ecosystems in a single offering so that enterprises can reduce the time, cost and risk typically associated with the delivery of complex IoT solutions. The developer-friendly SAMSUNG ARTIK platform makes it easy to build new products and services by addressing the complexity of IoT with easy-to-use, open and enterprise-grade APIs, SDKs and tools.

“We’re very pleased to be collaborating with Arrow for worldwide distribution of the SAMSUNG ARTIK Smart IoT platform. Arrow’s deep expertise in connecting customers with the right technology, particularly in the IoT space, is noteworthy,” said John Kalkman, vice president of worldwide SAMSUNG ARTIK™ platform sales, Samsung Electronics. “The recently announced expansion of the SAMSUNG ARTIK platform, including the ARTIK 0 and 7 module families, combined with Arrow’s global distribution support will enable us to more broadly serve customers building IoT solutions at scale.”
