Avnet Collaborates with Tintri in Brazil for Cost Effective Cloud Solutions

Avnet on February 22, 2017, announced that it is teaming with Tintri in Brazil. Avnet will distribute solutions from Tintri, a leading producer of all-flash storage for enterprise cloud. With Tintri products, partners will be able to offer their customers the agility of public cloud in their own data centers – for control of costs and predictable performance.

“With this new partnership, Avnet will offer storage solutions built specifically for enterprise cloud and that work like building blocks to easily integrate with our other strategic suppliers to deliver unmatched end-to-end solutions,” said Carlos Negri, general manager, Avnet Technology Solutions, Brazil. “With Avnet and Tintri, our partners will now be able to offer solutions that address customers’ constant challenges with the overwhelming mismatch between their virtualized workloads and their available storage.”

Under the distribution agreement, Avnet will provide Brazilian partners with access to Tintri offerings that can help them meet end users’ virtual machine requirements for running business-critical databases, enterprise apps, desktops and mobile apps, and enterprise cloud deployments. Avnet’s partners will have access to Tintri’s Partner Program, and Avnet will also help them in identifying revenue opportunities and providing the sales and technical expertise needed to be successful in fast-growing markets.

“Avnet has built their reputation on helping partners understand and accelerate the growth of specialized technologies, such as those from Tintri,” said Eric Berry, vice president of global channels, Tintri. “We selected Avnet because of their global alliances, geographic coverage and in-depth expertise in business solutions that partners need for corporate customers. This is complemented by a highly efficient and experienced partner ecosystem that meets customers’ business needs. Avnet is the ideal partner to support our distribution, education, market and sales development needs in Brazil.”

Avnet’s new relationship with Tintri exemplifies how Avnet is helping partners excel through specialization while capitalizing on the high-growth, next-generation technologies that are defining the modern data center. Avnet’s expert team offers partners educational services, resources and tools designed to help them capitalize on cloud and virtualization market opportunities. Partners can also leverage Avnet’s in-depth experience in complementary technology market segments, including the cognitive computing, data analytics, the data center, enterprise networking, Internet of Things (IoT), mobility, security, and training and education.
