    Keysight Technologies Works with Vignan University to Create an Advanced RF and Wireless Communications CoE

    Keysight Technologies, Inc. recently announced it has collaborated with Vignan University, a deemed university in Vadlamudi, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India, to establish an RF and wireless Centre of Excellence using Keysight’s state of the art equipment for system level design and measurement of wireless technologies.

    Vignan University established the Centre of Excellence in conjunction with Keysight with a cost of 11.2 crore rupees, in a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU includes technical support, RF certification, and student internship. In addition, Keysight’s university relations program is providing a significant contribution in the form of partial equipment donation. This is the first time Keysight has established a Centre of Excellence in the Andhra Pradesh region.

    The Centre of Excellence provides RF equipment that includes a Keysight vector signal generator, signal analyzer, mixed signal oscilloscope, logic analyzer, vector network analyzer, EDA software tools such as ADS, SystemVue and EMPro.

    “More than just a test equipment company, Keysight’s technical experts will provide domain expertise on cutting edge technologies,” said V.V. Pathy, Keysight Technologies India education business development manager. “Vignan University will leverage our knowledge and benefit from our experience in high-technology areas to enhance their program offerings and deliver value in their PG/Ph.D. programs, differentiating them from other institutions.”
