Latest Evaluation of Enterprise Service Management Vendors

Micro Focus announced that its Service Management Automation X (SMAX) platform has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Service Management. The report states that Micro Focus SMAX has evolved to expand the scope of services beyond IT and integrate further intelligence into the service delivery lifecycle.

According to the report, “Micro Focus provides one of the most intelligent service management platforms currently available, including uniquely advanced automated change risk scoring and proactive change optimization suggestions.”

“Backed by analytics, the unique cloud-native architecture and codeless configuration of Micro Focus SMAX help it to stand out from the competition with a focus on intelligent service management” said Saurabh Saxena, Country Director, Micro Focus India. “We are honored to be named a leader in this most recent Forrester Wave for ESM and believe this represents the ongoing commitment we hold to customer-centered innovation.”

SMAX is the first application suite for Enterprise Service Management and IT Service Management built on machine learning and analytics, powered by an embedded CMDB and Discovery to help drive down costs and speed up time to resolution, while providing the capabilities of a sustainable digital transformation allowing for many organizations to bridge existing and emerging technologies.

“Micro Focus’s SMAX platform is a good choice for customers that wish to adopt a comprehensive ESM platform and take advantage of emerging intelligent service management features,” the report goes on to state.

Featuring an intent-based smart virtual agent with Natural Language Understanding (NLU), the SMAX Marketplace, Google cloud support with managed Kubernetes, and unit-based licensing, Micro Focus SMAX is a scalable, multi-tenant cloud-native solution that delivers significantly lower cost of ownership vs. legacy SaaS and on-premises based toolkits.
