Jenoptik expands manufacturing facility in the form of an optical assembly area

Jenoptik Optical Systems LLC, a developer of high performance optical systems and health care and industry solutions, is expanding its manufacturing operations in Fla. The new addition comes in the form of an optical assembly area and will add 8100 sq ft, making the total production facility more than 70,000 sq ft.

Construction on the new assembly building will be completed in November 2018. The flexible manufacturing space offers a contamination-controlled environment and can be configured as required for future projects.

This expansion follows the addition of the facility’s new ISO Class 5 cleanroom in October 2017. Jenoptik’s Jupiter facility designs, manufactures, and services optical systems that enable cutting-edge technologies for OEMs around the globe.

Jenoptik is a globally operating technology group, which is active in optics, life science, mobility, defense, and civil systems.
