New at Mouser: TE Connectivity’s DT-XT Sealed Connector System for Demanding Commercial Vehicle Applications

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, is now shipping DT-XT sealed connector system from TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors. Part of TE’s DEUSTCH connector portfolio, the DT-XT sealed connector system uses advanced sealing materials featuring a covalent bond, providing high flexibility, durability, and improved tear resistance for commercial vehicles operating in harsh environments.

TE’s DT-XT sealed connector system, available from Mouser Electronics, provides advanced seal materials offering greater flexibility, leading to improved tear resistance. The connectors feature an integrated locking system to provide secure mating and electrical connection to the vehicle. The seal covers are made of high-consistency rubber and resist water ingress, protecting the seal from damage during terminal insertion or extraction. The DT-XT sealed connection system is available in a broad range of colors and custom options, enhancing error-proofing and removing the need for the labelling of wires. The IP69K-rated and J2030 power-wash-tested connectors are compatible with current industry tool standards, eliminating the need for costly redesigns.

Mouser stocks a variety of TE’s DEUTSCH components, including DTM EEC headers, 983 hermetic series connectors, and HD harsh environment connectors. DTM EEC headers and connectors provide an environmentally sealed solution with a current rating of 7.5A for PCB applications. TE’s 983 hermetic series connectors are qualified to the EN2997 specification, providing specialized performance in high-temperature, extreme-vibration environments, such as aircraft engine and booster applications. TE’s HD harsh environment connectors consist of the HD10, HD30, and HDP20 series connectors. The HD10 series is used primarily for diagnostic connectors, whereas the heavy-duty aluminum HD30 and rugged thermoplastic HDP20 series are designed for truck, bus, and off-highway applications.
