Mouser Electronics, Inc., stocks the complete SFM series of digital flow meters from Sensirion, including the SFM3003 and SFM3013 flow meters.
SFM3003 and SFM3013 meters are versatile, bidirectional flow meters with a low-pressure drop, offering a large flow range of up to 300 standard litres per minute (SLM). These next-generation flow meters feature a digital I²C interface and Sensirion’s patented CMOSens® technology, which combines a thermal sensor element, signal processing, and digital calibration on a single microchip for fast signal processing.
The SFM3003 series provides additional features for measuring flows of air, oxygen, and air/oxygen mixtures. SFM3013 digital mass flow meters are based on the SFM3003 solution but feature robustness to overpressure (up to 1 bar gauge pressure) and are calibrated for air, oxygen, and air/oxygen mixtures. The SFM3013 series can also be calibrated for heliox gas mixtures.
Both meters are ideal for a variety of medical and industrial applications, including ventilation, anesthesia, inhalers, spectroscopy, and more. For development, Mouser also stocks the SEK-SFM3003 and SEK-SFM3013 evaluation kits, which work with the SEK-SensorBridge (sold separately) and include a flow sensor, connector cable, and downloadable SEK-ControlCenter software.
