All market segments adapt new high powered EV Charger

Circontrol’s new high-power EV charger, Raption 150, allows for fast charging, meeting the needs of a market “where EV battery capacity is increasing every day and users want to complete the charge in less time,” the company says. Raption 150 allows simultaneous DC-DC charging to maximize the revenue of the operator, making it the perfect charger for highways, gas stations, car or bus fleets, taxi stop stations and other places where the vehicles need to be ready to go in 10 to 30 minutes, according to the company.

Raption 150 is Circontrol’s first high-power charger. Circontrol is also unveiling its new WallBox eNext series, a charger with appropriate proportions to fit any wall space. The range has been designed to simplify the charging process using Presence Recognition that allows users to activate the charge via smartphones. The WallBox has been designed to be installed in communal work places, car parks and private homes. The new series will be available starting January, 2019.

Along with its chargers, Circontrol offers monitoring and reporting software designed to collect data from chargers installed in a single space. COSMOS software is designed for fleet managers, condominium administrators and car park operators that want to subscribe and manage users, obtain information and create reports that allow a better understanding and management of the charging points.

Circontrol also offers a dynamic load management system, particularly useful for large parking lots with significant spaces reserved for electric vehicles. Dynamic load management software allows building managers to monitor the power used by the building, and to adjust the power available for vehicle charging, Circontrol says.
