AVNET’S : Intoducing Jeff Bawol and Sergio Farache as 2017 CRN Channel Chiefs

Honored for the sixth time as a CRN Channel Chief, Bawol was recognized for his role in helping suppliers and partners expand their businesses, while capitalizing on technology growth markets and services. In 2016, Bawol and his team led the America’s implementation of Avnet’s solutions specialist approach, which empowers Avnet partners to capitalize on cloud, cognitive computing, data analytics, data center, IoT, mobility, security and enterprise networking, and training and education. Also, Bawol and his team championed a first-of-its-kind collaboration with IBM to accelerate partners’ success in IoT and simplify the development cycle at every stage of an IoT solution.

Farache was honored for his leadership of the conceptualization and execution of Avnet’s new solutions specialist approach and continued expansion of the offerings from Avnet’s digital platform, the Avnet Cloud Marketplace. In addition, Farache and his team launched different specialized solutions programs to accelerate partner success in areas like the software-defined data center, security, analytics, and mobility, and they were instrumental in expanding Avnet’s overall vertical industry focus as well as the robust growth of Avnet’s IoT and security solutions businesses.
