Digi-Key Launches WeChat Part Search Function to Enhance Customer Experience at Electronica China 2018

During Electronica China in Shanghai March 14-16, 2018, Digi-Key will showcase a new WeChat feature – Part Search.

Digi-Key’s WeChat official account allows customers to search products directly by sending a part number as a message.  Search results are delivered instantly to your WeChat account. This quick-access-to-product solution greatly enhances users’ access to speedy and convenient information. All the services customers may need for their projects, such as manufacturer lists, design support, technical information, and customer services, are just one click away.

Another benefit of the WeChat official account is that it sends a weekly message covering organic technical trends and information, design tips, market trends, and promotions.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity to engage and interact with our customers and letting them know how we’re working hard to ensure our website and resources are designed to fully enhance our digital relationship with them,” said Tony Ng, Vice President, Global Sales. “Our new WeChat Part Search feature is unique to Digi-Key and gives us a distinct advantage in the industry. Giving customers prompt access to information, tools, and support will help make their ordering and designing processes easier and get their products to market faster.”

Guests who follow Digi-Key’s WeChat official account by scanning the QR code are eligible to get a free backpack. Also, they can take a selfie at the company’s photo booth and get a free charging cable.

Digi-Key is an authorized distributor for over 750 quality name-brand manufacturers and offers more than 6.8 million products on their website with 1.4 million in-stock and available for immediate shipment.
