Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. on November 29, 2016, announced its technology lineup for InnoRail India 2016, taking place Dec. 1-3 in Lucknow, India. In Hangar B, booth 39, Vishay will be exhibiting its latest industry-leading passive components, diodes, and thyristor modules for a wide range of applications.

Passive components from Vishay at InnoRail India 2016 will comprise a wide variety of the company’s latest capacitors, resistors, and inductors. Highlighted resistors will include Vishay MCB thick film power devices cooled by an auxiliary heatsink; reinforced winding wirewound power resistors with high dissipation to 900 W; and vitreous wirewound components with ratings to 600 W. Vishay Draloric will display stainless steel grid resistors with power to 23 kW for braking applications and cemented wirewound devices with continuous power dissipation to 250 W. Vishay Sfernice highlights will include thick film power resistors for heatsink mounting, while Vishay Milwaukee will exhibit custom heating and fan-cooled components.

Capacitors on display will include Vishay ESTA power electronic capacitors such as heavy-duty, gas-filled devices with output to 30 kvar and dry-type components with voltage from 320 V to 3.5 kV. Vishay BCcomponents will also showcase high-reliability screw-terminal aluminum components with long lifetimes for drive applications, and snap-in devices with rated voltages to 500 V and four-terminal designs. Vishay Cera-Mite high-voltage screw-terminal ceramic disc capacitors with voltage to 40 kV will be on display, while Vishay Roederstein will showcase metallized polypropylene film devices for DC-link and AC filtering, and snubber capacitors for direct IGBT mounting.

    Diodes on display from Vishay Semiconductors will include hockey PUK devices with on-state current from 810 A to 1400 A in the B-43 package; 350 A to 800 A in the DO-200AA; 375 A to 1600 A in the DO-200AB; and 990 A to 3800 A in the DO-200AC. Highlighted thyristor modules will offer current from 27 A to 105 A in the ADD-A-PAK GEN VII (TO-240AA) package; 135 A to 300 A in the INT-A-PAK; 170 A to 320 A in the MAGNA-A-PAK; and 500 A to 570 A in the Super MAGN-A-PAK. Phase control thyristors on display will include 10 A to 1622 A devices in the TO-48 package and 50 A components in the TO-65.

Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Research Designs & Standards Organization (RDSO), InnoRail India provides an opportunity for stakeholders in the railway sector to experience the latest railway technological innovations, products, and services.
