Global Distributor to Stock High-Current RoboLok Connectors
Mouser Electronics, Inc. announces a global distribution agreement with Amphenol GEC, a part of Amphenol Corporation that designs and manufactures cable assemblies, bus-bars, box builds, and other product and services for industrial markets.
The Amphenol GEC product line at Mouser comprises the RoboLok connector series, a three-position, high-current, primary circuit connector. Featuring Amphenol RADSOK technology, RoboLok plugs and receptacles deliver superior performance for either a 2 AWG (35mm) or 1 AWG (50mm) cable, with additional configurations in development. The very durable RoboLok connectors are ideal for industrial high-power robots, perform well in harsh environments, and can manage up to 200A (continuous) with a 40K temperature rise.
Amphenol GEC RoboLok connectors feature a 2+PE configuration with first-mate, last-break (FMLB) that is safe to operate during hot-plugging while also offering a lightweight, compact, composite modular design that requires no tools for assembly or maintenance. The IP67-rated connectors have an operating temperature range of minus 40 to 100 degrees Celsius, a voltage rating of 1,000 VAC/DC, and can withstand a minimum of 500 mating cycles.
The innovative RoboLok power connectors can be used in industrial robots, tool changer systems, automated assembly lines, and a variety of other industrial high-power applications.
