Low-PIM 4.3-10 Connectors and Adapters by Fairview microwave

Fairview Microwave  a supplier of on-demand microwave and RF components, has released 18 new 4.3-10 connectors and adapters with low-PIM performance of -166 dBc typical and a maximum operating frequency of 6 GHz. Typical applications include wireless base stations, small cells, custom cable assemblies, antenna feeder cables, mobile communications systems and distributed antenna systems (DAS).

Fairview’s new 4.3-10 connectors and adapters deliver VSWR as low as 1.08:1 and low coupling torque. They feature silver-plated center contacts and a tri-metal finish on the body and outer conductors for corrosion resistance. These connectors and adapters are IP67-rated when mated for protection from dust and temporary moisture under immersion. They have an IEC 61169-54 compliant interface and provide a 30 percent reduction in footprint when compared to 7/16 DIN.

“Our new 4.3-10 connectors and adapters boast low-PIM performance plus resistance to weather and corrosion, which makes them ideally suited for DAS and other mobile communications systems infrastructure,” said Randy Leenerts, Senior RF Engineer at Fairview Microwave.
