AAEON was recently invited to and participated in the Intel Data-Centric Innovation Day. AAEON was there to discuss matters related to innovations in AI and IOT fields, our partnership with Intel in developing platforms and solutions, as well as help celebrate the launch of the Second Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors, formerly Cascade Lake.

Fabrizio Del Maffeo, Vice President and Managing Director of AAEON Technology Europe, spoke with Intel in an interview, discussing the events of the day. The discussion focused on how the Second Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors help AAEON to provide customers powerful solutions for AI and IOT applications.

With the introduction of Second Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors, AAEON can provide scalable AI @ Edge solutions, from the Intel Movidius Myriad X to the Core i7, and now the Xeon SP. With technology from Intel, AAEON can provide our customers and developers with high performance platforms which can consolidate workloads and boost deep learning at the edge. They also provide needed power for fanless systems which are needed in many edge applications.
