TT Electronics enters into alliance with Coakley, Boyd and Abbett

TT Electronics, a global provider of engineered electronics for performance critical applications, announced it has entered into an alliance with Coakley, Boyd and Abbett, the long established and well-respected manufacturers’ representative, to market TT’s Power Partners brand. The partnership broadens TT Electronics’ reach with best-in-class, quality AC/DC power supplies and DC/DC converters, making a wider variety of products available throughout the New England market, both directly and via distribution.

“This new alliance with TT Electronics allows us to tap into the depth of the Power Partners’ product offering to meet the needs of our customers like never before,” said John O’Brien, Certified Professional Manufacturers’ Representative (CPMR), Coakley, Boyd and Abbett. “Synergies between our two organizations will be highly effective in addressing the unique technical and commercial challenges involving power conversion solutions.”

“Just as our Power Partners acquisition supports TT’s global growth strategy to expand its focus on design-led technology solutions and value-added complementary products, so too does this alliance,” said Susan Cervenak, Sales Director, TT Electronics. “By relying on the expertise of the Coakley, Boyd and Abbett team, TT will make substantial inroads to the U.S., particularly in the New England market – which has deep roots in both industrial and medical arenas.”

A leading provider of medical and industrial specialist power products for the North American market, Power Partners was acquired in March 2019 to complement TT’s global power electronics business with new products and design capabilities. The move supports TT’s competitive advantage in the connected health arena, tapping into Power Partners’ expertise in power solutions design for a broad spectrum of medical applications. TT also serves industrial customers in applications including telecommunications, printers, test and measurement instruments, factory automation, industrial controls, and consumer communications/networking devices.
