Altimetrik Ranked 15th Among Industry’s Biggest Players on The Software Report’s Annual Top 100 Software Companies List

Some of the most influential brands in retail, apparel, athleisure, and restaurants, are redefining the consumer experience by launching successful new digital businesses and products. Increasingly, brands and enterprises in these and other industries are turning to Altimetrik for its winning approach to digital business enablement, earning the company a No. 15 ranking on The Software Report’s annual list of software stars, the Top 100 Software Companies of 2021.

The list was led by some of the most recognizable software organizations in the world, like Microsoft (No. 1), Adobe (2), and Dropbox (4), as well as newcomers like Asana (11).

“Being included so high on this list is a validation of our approach to digital business, including our bite-size approach that develops new products in real-time without delays or disruption to the existing business,” says Altimetrik CEO Raj Sundaresan.

“Those that delay enabling new digital business risk falling behind, and those who choose a big-bang approach to digital transformation will fall short. By taking more measured steps to digital business, modern enterprises will position themselves to meet business goals, including growing revenue and profit.”

Coming off a year that saw strong double-digit revenue growth, a major expansion of engineering centers and headcount, and successful navigation through the COVID-19 pandemic within the company and externally, Altimetrik is perfectly positioned to help major brands and retailers meet the surging consumer appetite for convenience and personalization. The pandemic has been a tipping point for digitalization among businesses, highlighting the demand for new digital products and services and unaddressed supply chain challenges.

“The future is already here, and we are seeing many of the world’s largest companies make investments to digitalize their organizations,” says Sundaresan. “The convenience of e-commerce and seamless supply chains are remaking the business world, and our 4,200-plus practitioners across the globe are highly skilled at bringing those concepts to life.”

Companies were nominated and selected based on a thorough evaluation process. Among key criteria considered were software product quality, management team calibre, organizational culture, and overall company evolution. In many cases, a company received a large number of nominations from a wide range of its various stakeholders.

The Software Report is a leading source for market research and insights, corporate activity, product information, executive news, and business happenings related to the software sector. Based in New York City, the firm is run by a seasoned team of editors, writers, and media professionals highly knowledgeable on software and the various companies, executives, and investors that make up the sector.
