HARTING Technology Group delivers first hygiene items dispenser

Against the backdrop of the continued spreading of the COVID19 pandemic, the HARTING Technology Group has delivered its first automatic hygiene items dispenser. The automatic unit, produced under the name “HARTING Prevent”, provides various hygiene articles for immediate use, which can be selected at the touch of a button and paid for contact-free.

“Without the immediate availability of essential hygiene articles, infection protection will not work in places with high public throughput,” as Peter Weichert, Managing Director of HARTING Systems, underlined. Consequently, the HARTING subsidiary developed the “HARTING Prevent” dispensing machine, thereby ensuring immediate availability of face masks, disinfectant wipes and disposable gloves. A first prototype of these dispensers has now been installed in the Hartmann E-Center in Stemwede-Levern, East Westphalia.

Further expedient locations are the entrance areas of citizens’ offices, hospitals, nursing homes, churches or the waiting areas of physicians, railway stations, airports as well as the lobby zones of hotels, theatres and cinemas. “Wherever many people mix and mingle, and you want to protect yourself or others from infection, special hygiene measures are required,” adds Weichert.

As an acknowledged specialist active in the food retailing industry, HARTING Systems is well equipped for the immediate delivery of additional units. For over 20 years, the subsidiary of the HARTING Technology Group has been developing complete solutions for checkout zones. In addition to the extensive product portfolio addressing the retailing sector, HARTING Systems develops, plans and produces individual housing technologies made of aluminium, steel and stainless steel for specific applications for major industrial customers.
