Helping Adetel Solution future-proof their investment, the TRACe modular open-architecture platform has been certified to its video surveillance, passenger information and train-to-ground communication solutions. Showcasing the two company’s combined transportation expertise initially for video surveillance applications, Kontron and Adetel Solution will demonstrate an onboard video surveillance system at Embedded World 2016 in Kontron’s booth#478, Hall 1. The demonstration incorporates Adetel Solution’s video management software with multiple high-resolution cameras including the Samsung Security SNV-6012M 2MP 1080p full HD vandal-resistant network mobile flat camera recorded on the TRACe network video recorder (NVR) and managed by a TRACe HMI.
Designed for both retrofit and new rolling stock applications, Kontron’s COTS-based TRACe EN50155-certified transportation computer family features a small, low-profile design and is compatible with all major operating systems and future processor developments. Adding additional value, TRACe’s integrated health management monitoring API (Application Program Interface) puts clear and holistic information at a user’s fingertips to access everything from train management and passenger service information to video surveillance system health and availability.

The Adetel Solution video management software (VMS) solution is a software suite including embedded software, firmware, operation and maintenance software tools.
