Mouser and Essentra Components Sign Global Distribution Agreement

Mouser Electronics , Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, announces a global distribution agreement with Essentra Components , a leading manufacturer of plastic injection molded, vinyl dip molded, and metal items. Through the agreement, Mouser now stocks a broad selection of Essentra fittings, hardware, electronic components and fasteners, including some of Essentra’s key product categories: cable clips and clamps, cable ties, snap lock supports and rivets.

Essentra cable clips and clamps are available in fixed and adjustable designs and help protect and route wires. These cable clips and clamps feature bundle diameters from 1/16 inch to 2-1/4 inches and multiple mounting methods, including adhesive, screw mount, and snap-in designs. The cable clips and clamps come in plastic and metal versions and are ideal for aerospace, appliances, and electronics applications.

The company’s cable ties are available in lengths from 3 inches to 59 inches, in a variety of materials, including weather-resistant nylon, polypropylene, and stainless steel. The cable ties come in tensile strengths from 18 pounds to 250 pounds and provide beaded and releasable ties that are helpful for temporary applications or where change is needed, such as sign holders, decorations, and security.

Essentra rivets are easily installed by hand and available for multiple hole sizes and panel thicknesses for holding multiple materials together and fastening items to designated locations. The rivets feature plastic construction and come in a wide variety of styles, sizes, and configurations to accommodate different materials and panel dimensions.

Snap lock supports aid in supporting, spacing, locking, and guiding of printed circuit boards within electronic applications. These supports eliminate the need for screws and nuts, provide electrical insulation, and are available in several diameters and panel sizes. Essentra snap lock supports are designed to be installed manually and do not require automated assembly equipment.
