Delta: Displays power products
As an established supplier of power products, Delta chose to display its lines of charging solutions for EVs (electric vehicles) at this year’s NEPCON JAPAN. Riding on the popularity of EVs, Delta put the spotlight on its fast charging systems during the trade show. Delta has recently developed two models of fast charging systems – a 6kW AC charger for residential use and a 25kW DC charger that can be installed in parking lots, highway rest stops, and similar venues. The wall-mounted AC charger is currently available on the market, whereas the stationary DC charger is getting ready for mass production.
Quantum-dot backlight: Displays Mini Flip Chip
Japanese manufacturer GeneLite shows Mini Flip Chip for Quantum-dot TV and mobile phone backlight. This thin and bendable chip features substantial reduction in power consumption, thus can be used for curved TV or mobile phones with curved screen. In addition, GeneLite also shows the quantum-dot wide color gamut technology, which increases the gamut of LCD TV using QD film up to NTSC 118%, and makes the colors more vivid and accurate.
TDK Corp: Displays highly accurate bonding systems
TDK presented its highly accurate bonding system for processing not only Micro and Mini LEDs but also other chip products related to 5G and IoT applications. Notable specifications of AM-15 applied in Mini LED market, which accuracy reaching ±2µm (3σ) and mounting tact time of 0.72 seconds per chip.
Pi Photonics Inc: Nano Coating Material
Hallowrite was exhibited at the special technology exhibition where LEDs, semiconductor lasers and their development and manufacturing technologies are exhibited in a row. Scenes of utilization as attention lighting are widening as visualization of the danger zone in the factory by light, urging workers to call for attention and reducing occupational accidents. The new product, Horolight / Double Line, visualizes the passage of workers from the factory ceiling with light. Because the newly developed Hororite mini is compact and lightweight, it can be easily mounted on a forklift. A lot of visitors got to see it as a new LED lighting.
