    Sasken showcases expertise in developing LTE-based devices at Satellite 2018

    Sasken Technologies Ltd., participated in Satellite 2018 held from March 12 to 15, 2018 in Washington, D.C., USA. At the event, Sasken showcased a handheld satellite terminal developed for the world’s leading satellite service provider along with several M2M devices that underscore Sasken’s communication technology expertise.

    Sasken demonstrated its competence in developing LTE-based devices including wearables, trackers, sensors, broadband LTE devices, etc. on the latest LTE chipsets. Sasken also showcased its capabilities in the development of dual mode (terrestrial and satellite) handset and terminals for some of the world’s leading service providers and manufacturers.

    Speaking about Sasken’s participation in the event, Ajit Singh, Senior VP and Head – Communications & Devices Business Unit, said, “With over two decades of terrestrial communication experience from GSM, 3G, LTE to the latest 5G technologies, Sasken has been at the helm of providing value-added solutions in this field. We are developing terminals, handheld devices, network software development, and conformance test tool developments to enable reliable communication with satellites (GEO, MEO or LEO).     Sasken provides extensive expertise to global satellite communication leaders working across Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) and High Throughput Satellite (HTS) segments. Sasken has executed full device development program for many handset and terminal products from conceptualization, design and development to integration, productization, and production ramp-up support. Sasken has developed VSAT terminal software for OEMs and small form-factor based Automotive antenna. Sasken is also successfully engaged in the design and development of tracking devices, handheld device, terminals for fixed, land and maritime along with tracking antenna.
