Mouser Electronics and Sunon Sign Global Distribution Agreement

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, announces a global distribution agreement with Sunon, a global leader in the fields of precision motors, mini fans, and thermal modules. Sunon’s focus on research and development of core motor technology enables it to release many patented products that set the pace for the industrial trend.

The Sunon product line available from Mouser Electronics includes the company’s Mighty Miniseries, IP series, EC series, and PF series fans. The Mighty Mini fans and blowers are small, thin, and light cooling fans and blowers, with a thickness of just 3 mm. The fans and blowers offer low noise and low power consumption and are IP rated (IP55 or IP58), making them suitable for outdoor applications with protection from dust and water. Mighty Mini products are ideal for a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, GPS modules, handheld games, pico projectors, portable media players, and hard drives.

Sunon IP fans are dust-proof, waterproof fans that offer built-in protection against dust, water, and foreign objects that can severely damage fan motors. These IP68-rated fans and blowers undergo rigorous testing against harsh environments such as water jets, rain, flood, salt fog, moisture, and severe dust and dirt exposure. Sunon’s EC series energy-saving fans incorporate a highly efficient brushless DC (BLDC) motor to reduce power consumption by up to 75 percent when compared to conventional AC axial fans. These fans are available from Mouser in IP55- and IP68-rated models and offer airflow up to 109 cubic feet per minute (CFM).

Sunon’s P&V series of DC cooling fans were developed with new stator materials that offer lower electrical conductivity for higher efficiency, higher performance, and lower vibration. P&V fans achieve exceptional airflow performance and are ideal for routers/switches applications, data storage and server rack systems, and power supplies.
