    Grundfos India announces #HandsUpForConservation Photo Contest

    Grundfos India, launches the seventh edition of its annual photo contest. This year’s contest, #HandsUpForConservation focuses on creating awareness for water and energy conservation at an individual level and symbolizes that the future of the planet is in our hands. The photographs being submitted will need to depict hand/s along with one or more of the elements – water or light. The contest will go live on Grundfos India’s social media platforms, Ek Boondh Pani (EBP) and i Save Energy (ISE) on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from November 1 to November 30, 2020.

    Aligned with the theme to raise our hands for a better tomorrow, participants are invited to upload their photographs on the link provided on these social media platforms. From turning off a light switch, to holding water or planting a seed, participants are encouraged to include their hand/s in their pictures. The top three winners of the contest will take away a OnePlus 8 5G mobile phone, Toshiba 43-inch Ultra HD LED Smart TV, Bose Home Speakers respectively. Five consolation winners will also be selected and they will receive a Boat Airpod each.

    “Conservation needs to start with each one of us – it is in our hands and we are responsible for using water and energy wisely. Promoting sustainability has been a key focus of Grundfos and our photo-contests in the past have helped multiply this message effectively. We hope that this year’s contest will do the same”, said Mahathi Parashuram, Regional Head – Public Affairs, Communications & Engagement, Grundfos Asia Pacific Region.
