    AI Supervision for Self-Administered Medication

Self Administered Medication is very common throughout the globe among elderly people. Pre-existing diseases and comorbidities account for the maximum usage today.

The world today has grown so materialistic that money and health have become the major factor, people ran for the former and apprehend the latter. Today, what we need is curious, effective and indigenous health administration.

Technologies like wearables and predictive maintenance have simplified this process. But dependency on this type of technology is also a major concern.

    AI Virtual Monitor

Today, Researchers have administered a new technology that will link wireless sensing with Artificial Intelligence to regulate the dosages of certain medications. Experts analysed that more than 70 per cent of people did not consume the medicine in the prescribed method.

Contrary to the sleep-monitoring device, this technology can be installed in the living space and uses AI to interpret the modulated radio waves. The technology also doesn’t require the patients to have a sensor or a monitor linked to their body.  It is just a system that can be installed in a home and potentially help patients and caregivers by highlighting medication errors and reduce unnecessary hospital visits.
Firstly the system traces a patient’s activity in the 10-meter radius, using radio waves that reflect from their bodies. Secondly, AI checks for signs of a patient self-administering.  Finally, if it detects a flaw in the administration process if there is any.

Gone are the days of guided administrations and hunting for home nurses or caretakers. These advanced technologies help people become confident and capable enough to look after themselves.

The Healthcare sector will witness tremendous advancements in the near future. Cognitive Techniques, Prescriptive Analysis and Predictive Maintenance will be the key players in this. The future is healthier and safer in the hands of Science.
