Hazardous Location High Speed Camera designed, for discreet monitoring and remote observation

Larson Electronics LLC, a leading industrial lighting company, announced the release of a new hazardous location camera designed for discreet monitoring and remote observation in indoor and outdoor industrial environments. This 2MP camera features pan, tilt and zoom controls and can be powered via POE or wall outlet.

The HAL-CMR-IP-POE-PTZ-20MP produces crisp 1080p full-HD high resolution images day and night, for both indoor and outdoor applications. This explosion proof camera is capable of capturing images 1920 x 1080 resolutions. It features pan, tilt and zoom controls, the day/night unit offers up to 3x zoom for far-flung targets. Operators can power the monitoring device via POE or wall outlet. Alternatively, a network cable can be used to power the unit, when connected to POE-enabled devices, such as a POE NVR or POE switch.

The HAL-CMR-IP-POE-PTZ-20MP is constructed of durable copper-free aluminum and has an unbreakable polycarbonate lens. Four NPT hubs allow operators to safely wire and securely mount the unit in vessels, tanks, reactors, walls, ceilings or pendant configurations. This explosion proof camera is NEMA 3 and 4 rated.

“This explosion proof camera is perfect for discreet remote monitoring,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “It can be mounted inside vessels and tanks for real time viewing, or on building walls and ceilings to observe workplace operations”, he added.
