Latest µModule Buck Regulators in stock, designed for reducing solution size

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, is now offering the Power by Linear LTM4626 and LTM4638 µModule regulators from Analog Devices. The step-down switching mode regulators are designed to reduce solution size and deliver reliable power circuit performance in applications such as telecom, networking, industrial equipment, medical diagnostic equipment, data storage, and test and debug systems.

Analog Devices LTM4626 and LTM4638 µModule regulators, available from Mouser Electronics, offer a 12 A or 15 A (respectively) step-down DC/DC regulator solution that incorporates a switching controller, power FETs, inductor, and support components in a 6.25 mm² BGA package. Operating over an input voltage range of 3.1 V to 20 V, both devices support an output voltage range of 0.6 V to 5.5 V, set by a single external resistor.

The LTM4626 and LTM4638 regulators support selectable discontinuous mode operation and output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing. The devices’ high switching frequency and current mode control enable a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. Additionally, the regulators include over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection.
