Lumileds LUXEON XR-TX High-Efficacy LED Matrix Now at Mouser

March 2, 2016 – Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking LUXEON XR-TX LED modules from Lumileds. These LED devices integrate 12 high-efficacy LUXEON TX LEDs on a rigid and thermally conductive metal core PCB. The LUXEON XR-TX modules are designed to be readily combined with third-party lens plates and drivers to rapidly design and bring to market LED streetlights, tunnel lights, and high/low bay fixtures.Print_Lumileds LUXEON XR-TX

The Lumileds LUXEON XR-TX modules, available from Mouser Electronics, are optimized for lighting applications that require high-power LED arrays mounted on a rigid and thermally conductive substrate. The integrated LUXEON TX emitters deliver high flux density from a uniform source with tight correlated color temperature control. The LUXEON XR-TX modules provide 3,300 lumens and are available in color temperatures of 4000K, 5000K, and 5700K with a minimum CRI of 70. The LUXEON XR-TX modules achieve excellent efficacy at the board level of 140 lm/W at 4000K and 700 mA drive current.

Designers can connect up to seven LUXEON XR-TX modules in a series to achieve an assortment of system configurations and necessary flux levels. With the modules’ 150mm × 45mm footprint, designers can also combine the LUXEON XR-TX modules with standard lenses, lens plates, and drivers, enabling easy system integration and faster time to market. The modules are rated for a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius and meet performance requirements in a variety of environmental conditions, making them suitable for outdoor and wide area lighting applications such as streetlights, high/low bay luminaires, and stadium lighting.
