MeitY: India World’s Most Promising Growth Market

India is one of the most promising growth markets in the world, this elated statement has been given by Secretary of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Aruna Sundararajan.

Sundararajan was participating at the Annual West Coast Summit of the US-India Business Council (USIBC) in California on May 8, 2017. There, she said, “India is amongst the most promising growth markets in the world, and this makes it an attractive destination for all.”

Besides this, Sundararajan also spoke about the ‘Digital India’ and the ‘Make in India’ flagship initiatives of the central government.

The event witnessed the IT secretary being awarded the ‘Transformative Leadership Award’ by the USIBC, for rendering excellent public services and for strengthening the US-India trade ties.

A delegation, under the leadership of Sundararajan, is also there to meet the IT companies.
