New NFLEX Converged Infrastructure now Certified for SAP Environments

Fujitsu and NetApps’s jointly developed NFLEX Converged Infrastructure solution is now available for SAP environments. Optimized to manage SAP installations, from SAP Business Suite to SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW/4HANA deployments, the pre-configured data center infrastructure is handed over on Windows and Linux operating systems. NFLEX is fully scalable, making it suitable for entry-level SAP installations in small- and medium-sized organizations.

Ready to run within just one day, NFLEX for SAP Environments can streamline the implementation and operation of SAP landscapes. It combines a fully integrated stack of tried and tested compute, storage and infrastructure management solutions from Fujitsu and NetApp with single-call service and support. NFLEX is a flexible package that can be extended as business requirements change and data volumes grow. This translates into reduced time to market for new SAP installations and SAP S/4HANA migrations, as well as simplified daily operations, by running SAP applications and SAP HANA databases on the same converged architecture.

Developed with a focus on versatile application provisioning, NFLEX for SAP Environments helps to provide flexibility to optimize and upgrade SAP environments as needed. Users can rely on the tested and validated combination of industry-leading SAP technology, underpinned by best-in-class, one-stop services from both Fujitsu and NetApp, from purchase through implementation and support. This allows more agile, streamlined and reliable IT services at lower costs, and in turn increases uptime and productivity.

NFLEX for SAP Environments is part of a portfolio of NFLEX improvements and new solution designs. The NFLEX system has been enhanced with a unified converged infrastructure manager, more flexible compute options and more powerful storage. Upcoming solution designs will include Oracle and VMware end user computing that will be available later this year.
