    Samsung launches new 4G series

    Samsung claiming 62 per cent of market share in the 4G enabled phones, hopes to garner more with its range of 18 devices. “The country is poised to become second largest smart phone market in the world and we have 45 per cent share in this area in the last two decades of presence.

    With more telecom firms rolling out the 4G network we are hoping to enlarge our space,” he said. The company will be focussing on lots of innovations in the coming year and expects to sail along with the projected 18 per cent growth of the mobile smart phone market in India. The newly launched devices priced at Rs.33,400 for A7 and Rs.29,400 for A5, are available in the colour of gold, black and white.

    Armed with rear and front end cameras with optical image stabilisation to ensure blur free photos, the devices are quipped for faster downlink (upto 300 Mbps) and uplink (upto 50 Mbps) speeds with fingerprint sensor technology for secure access.

    Galaxy A7

    The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels

    The Samsung Galaxy A7 is powered by 1GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A7 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

    The Samsung Galaxy A7 runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 2600mAh non removable battery. It measures 151.00 x 76.20 x 6.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 141.00 grams.

    The Samsung Galaxy A7 is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, FM, 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer.

    The Samsung Galaxy A5 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A5 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

    The Samsung Galaxy A5 runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 2300mAh non removable battery. It measures 139.30 x 69.70 x 6.70 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 123.00 grams.
