Series 61 Communication Controller Now Compatible with Linux

GOEPEL electronic announces the extension of the Series 61 communication controller portfolio for CAN/CAN-FD, FlexRay, K-Line and LIN.  As of now, all interfaces are compatible with Linux. The interface has been ported; function names and parameters remain unchanged, so users can easily develop platform-independent software.

The G-API (GOEPEL electronic Application Programming Interface) only supported Windows-based systems before. The new release is specially ported for the Linux version openSUSE Leap 42.2; other versions are supported on request.

The Series 61 controller platform provides powerful and flexible simulation and test scenarios for various vehicle bus systems. The new architecture includes a large pool of options which allow the user to individually and flexibly configure or enhance the controllers to fit their specific needs.
