    Stocking new pirate audio accessories for quality audio and LCD interface

The audio pHAT boards deliver high-quality audio , playback control, and LCD screens in a fully assembled solution compatible with all Raspberry Pi models with a 40-pin GPIO header.

    The Pimoroni Pirate Audio accessories, available from Mouser Electronics, provide an easy-to-use audio solution with IPS LCD screens for album art and four tactile buttons for playback control. The boards ship with custom Pirate Audio software and a simple installer, enabling developers of all skill levels to easily set up and begin listening to streaming music or to local audio files in MP3, FLAC, or other formats.

    The Pirate Audio product range includes a speaker board, stereo amplifier board, line-out board, and headphone amp board. The PIM485 Audio Speaker board is a compact, all-in-one sound system that features a miniature mono 1 W speaker, Maxim MAX98357A I²S digital-to-audio converter (DAC), amplifier, high-resolution display, and playback control buttons. For a little more power, the PIM484 3W Stereo Amp combines two MAX98357A DACs to provide 3 W output per channel. In addition to push-fit terminals for connecting external speakers, the board includes a switch for stereo/mixed-down mono modes.

    The PIM483 Audio Line-Out board allows developers to upgrade existing hi-fi amps, speakers, and powered monitors with clean 24-bit/192 KHz digital audio. The board, based on a Texas Instruments PCM5100A DAC, delivers line-level digital audio over I 2 S and includes a 3.5mm stereo jack. The PIM482 Headphone Amp is based on a Diodes Inc. PAM8908 stereo headphone amplifier and TI PCM5100A DAC. The board integrates a 3.5 mm stereo jack and a low-gain/high-gain switch to create a hackable portable media player.
