    Tata Motors partners with Zoomcar to deploy 500 EVs

    Automobile major Tata Motors in partnership with Zoomcar flagged-off first batch of Tigor EV in Pune. Under the partnership, both the companies are planning to deploy 500 units of electric cars in 20 cities of India over next year, a joint release said.

    Commenting on the partnership, Greg Moran, Co-Founder and CEO, Zoomcar said, “The Zoomcar team is thrilled to partner with Tata Motors to bring electric vehicles to Pune. This marks the beginning of a dynamic partnership within electric mobility and we expect to touch 20 cities and 500 electric vehicles with Tata over the next year.”

    Founded in 2013, Zoomcar allows users to rent cars by the hour, day, week, or month. At present, the company is operating in nearly 35 cities across India.
