All new TO-220 and TO-247 TR Series power resistors serve general apps

The TR Series from Stackpole offers a compact power resistor solution for applications requiring the use of a heat sink. The TR Series offers 20W, 30W, 35W, 50W, and 50WH sizes in a TO-220 style package and a 100W size in a TO-247 style. The TR Series features electrically isolated molded housings and a non-inductive screw mount or clip mount package.

The power film elements exhibit excellent test performance when used with a properly sized heat sink. These package styles are commonly used in power semiconductors, switching power supplies, automotive, motor controls, and high frequency/high speed pulse applications.

Stackpole has stock on more than 90 of the most popular size and resistance value combinations. Pricing for the TR varies with size, resistance value, tolerance, and TCR. Contact Stackpole or one of our franchised distributor partners for volume pricing.
