Revolutionary Screen Printing Advancements Boost Efficiency and Productivity

In the ever-evolving landscape of screen printing technology, a groundbreaking advancement has emerged, promising a paradigm shift in the industry. This innovation presents a maintenance-free printhead, faster operational cycles, and seamless connectivity, all contributing to a significant upswing in productivity and operational efficiency.

Introducing the ii-P7, a trailblazing addition to the screen printing field, brimming with a multitude of enhancements meticulously designed to catapult productivity to new heights.

The ii-P7 flaunts a maintenance-free printhead featuring active closed-loop squeegee pressure control, rendering squeegee calibration obsolete. This state-of-the-art platform is expertly crafted to handle stencil sizes directly within the 23 to 29-inch range, obviating the need for adapters and streamlining setup and turnover procedures, even in dynamic assembly environments with diverse demands.

Remarkably, the ii-P7 surpasses its predecessor, Europlacer’s esteemed EP710 printer, delivering a remarkable 25% reduction in standard mode print cycle times. Moreover, it presents an option for specialized motor technology capable of halving this already impressive timeframe.

Operators stand to gain substantial benefits from the user-centric upgrades integrated into the ii-P7. These enhancements include improved ergonomics in the cover support and a spacious 22-inch touchscreen interface. Powered by the advanced Europlacer OS (iiPS), the ii-P7 streamlines operations with its intuitive step-and-repeat functions, facilitating tasks like inspection and label placement. It also boasts enhanced fiducial recognition, especially for low-contrast points, and introduces a Swiffer commissioning sequence, collectively optimizing the screen printing process.

Furthermore, the ii-P7 elevates the inner screen cleaning mechanism, a pivotal step in guaranteeing pristine print quality and procedural precision. It incorporates enhanced paper management and fluid dispensation, supported by an external solvent tank that utilizes standard industry bottles, eliminating the cumbersome process of fluid transfer. Additionally, an optional cleaning system streamlines the process with a wet-dry-vacuum cycle in a single pass, reducing cleaning time by a third. Not stopping there, the ii-P7 introduces a quick-change cassette system for paper rolls, significantly slashing downtime by allowing rapid replacements.

The ii-P7’s printhead has undergone a comprehensive redesign to accommodate the innovative EuroGlide premium squeegee blades, meticulously crafted to optimize paste containment and simplify blade replacement and setup.

In line with Europlacer’s steadfast commitment to factory-wide connectivity, the ii-P7 comes fully equipped with IPC-CFX and Hermes-compliant protocols, underscoring its dedication to comprehensive connectivity. The machine also features remote monitoring capabilities and predictive consumable replenishment as standard features, aligning seamlessly with the vision of a connected and highly efficient manufacturing environment.
