VIAVI to Demonstrate Test Solutions to Accelerate Indian Fiber Rollouts at OFC India

Viavi Solutions will showcase its portfolio of fibre test systems at the 12th Annual Conference of OFC Networks in India, July 20-21 2022, as the government of India embarks upon its ambitious goal of establishing optical fiber connectivity to all 600,000 Indian villages by 2023.

The solutions VIAVI is showcasing at the event include the recently launched FiberComplete PRO, the first single test port solution that fully automates all the fiber qualification tests required for the construction and certification of any type of fiber optic network. This fiber test solution is capable of replacing six test instruments.

In addition to interacting with key solutions from the VIAVI test portfolio, service providers can consolidate their understanding of how fiber testing helps speed up 5G and broadband rollout at scale during the speaking session, “Essential Fiber Tests Enabling 5G and Broadband”, delivered by members of the VIAVI team.

“This is an exciting time for India as we progress toward full fiber,” said Monojit Samaddar, Country Director, VIAVI Solutions. “It is hard to understate the positive impact that widespread, high-speed reliable internet will have on both urban populations and rural communities. But we have to get this right. That is why we are at this show, bringing both our expertise and our portfolio of solutions that have benefitted other markets such as the USA, UK and Italy.”

VIAVI will showcase a comprehensive range of fiber test and measurement solutions including FiberComplete PRO for field verification, Sidewinder for data center field tests, Nano OSA for 5 G-related OSA testing, ONMSi for fiber monitoring, as well as inspection, cleaning and performance testing solutions for optical connector manufacturers. These network-ready solutions will be on display at OFC India, July 20-21, 2022, at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram.
