Soldering solutions expanded with new equipment to offer end-users application flexibility

Since adding the American company, Promation to its portfolio last year, Altus, leading supplier of capital equipment in the UK and Ireland, has seen growing interest in the products and has since expanded the range with the company’s latest soldering solutions.

Altus already has a wide selection of Promation’s modular robots, and this is set to increase with some of the latest innovations on the market. New for 2019 is the QUICK 9544CJ PRO MODEL soldering robot solution. The new system features a ‘super-sized’ working area as well as an upgraded nitrogen ready 180 watt power supply and high performance soldering iron with embedded thermistor for ultimate temperature feedback.

“This new addition from Promation sits very well within our product range,” said Joe Booth, Altus’ Business Development and Marketing Manager. “It is the most flexible soldering solution the company has designed and offers end-users application flexibility. Importantly it has been found to meet more than 95% of all soldering application requirements, making it an important addition to any manufacturing line.

“We are pleased to add more products to our range of equipment and look forward to introducing some the latest equipment available from the Altus portfolio at our Technology Day being held on 19 and 20 June.”

Together with the new soldering robot solution, Altus will also add the all new QUICK 9544CJ PRO model table-top robotic soldering machine to its offering. With the largest soldering area available on the market, it has been designed for OEMS, contract manufacturers, or high changeover environments, due to its long term flexibility. The large working area solution allows for an increase of applicable products to be fixtured and soldered within the same work cell.
