Latest NB-IoT Network to be launched at Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2019

Cavli Wireless Inc, a cellular IoT based module manufacturer and provider of eSIM enabled global connectivity, announces the release of its future proof IoT module – C1 RM, at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona 2019.

C1 RM is an NB-IoT module with 2G fallback and integrated eSIM for global data connectivity. This marks an important advancement in the current IoT ecosystem and positions Cavli Wireless as an enabler for companies to easily access the latest technological advancements such as Narrowband IoT to build and launch superior solutions.

“Many ODMs and start-ups working in the IoT ecosystem prefers to migrate to technologies like LTE-M and NB-IoT, primarily because of low power consumption, reduced hardware costs, enhanced signal reception etc. However, the adoption to these technologies have not been easy due to the lack of network readiness in many countries and even countries where it is launched, many of them are not nationwide coverage.”, said John Mathew, Chief Technology Architect of Cavli Wireless. “Hence, providing these companies, hardware with 2G fallback support and integrated eSIM can significantly help their causes as well as fast-track the adoption towards NB-IoT”.

Cavli Wireless is determined to empower its customers with complete flexibility in terms of data connectivity, which it achieves by integrating its eSIM into the modules. By partnering with Arm Kigen, the GSMA accredited Subscription Management (SAS-SM) and eSIM provisioning platform, Cavli Wireless will help companies to configure the required data plan on to the module remotely through its cloud platform HubbleThings. Based on the network availability, companies can also switch the devices between NB-IoT and 2G network through HubbleThings.
