Small racer! CAN FD for Mini PCIe

With the PCAN-miniPCIe FD, the company PEAK-System from Germany publishes a plug-in card in the PCI Express Mini format for the connection to one or two CAN FD busses. Based on a pre-mounted expansion card, a four-channel version is available as well. The card reaches transfer rates of up to 12 Mbit/s for the maximum 64 data bytes of a CAN FD frame. The PCAN-miniPCIe FD can be flexibly connected to CAN and CAN FD busses via the D-Sub connector using the enclosed connection cables. Each CAN channel is galvanically decoupled with 300 Volts and can be terminated optionally.

With the extended operating temperature range of -40 to 85 ° C, its high durability, and space-saving design, the PCAN-miniPCIe FD is particularly suitable for use in embedded systems such as industrial PCs or in motor, rail, and air vehicles. The plug-in card can also be used in medical devices, data loggers, and test stands.

The scope of delivery includes a software for displaying the CAN traffic, APIs for the development of own applications with CAN connection, and device drivers for Windows and Linux.
