Tesla’s Cybertruck is as Strong as it is Futuristic

The Cybertruck, the futuristic-looking EV truck from Tesla is built with an exterior shell made for ultimate durability and passenger protection. The monochrome exoskeleton is made from ultra-hard 30x cold roll stainless steel that helps eliminate dents, damage, and long-term corrosion.

According to Tesla, the choice of steel alloy over other metals is going to bring significant changes especially when it comes to durability and affordability. The technology used to make the exoskeleton is unique to the automotive industry and the material used is the same as that of the exterior of a Space X rocket.

As per the patents filed by tesla on May 27th, the exoskeleton has been built in such a way as to protect the passengers from shocks and other external impacts. The patents also reveal that the Cybertruck may also include solar panels on the roof of the vehicle.

The patents reveal certain innovations regarding the external panels of the vehicle that will be installed on the exoskeleton to make it crash-resistant and heavy load-bearing. Even during the Cybertruck reveal presentation, the vehicle was able to absorb several sledgehammers’ blows.

All these innovations will probably make the Cybertruck a crash-resistant vehicle and the use of its special alloy over other metals will make it cheaper and affordable than its other competitors.
